Abstract:
To correct positional deviation of a medium in a width direction due to movement of a conveyance part in the width direction, and suppress or avoid occurrence of deviation of a recording image in the medium.SOLUTION: A recording device comprises: a conveyance roller pair 11 conveying a sheet P to a recording area K by a recording head 10 performing recording onto the sheet P; a storage part 20 storing a correction value C for correcting a recording position to the sheet P by the recording head 10; and a control part 18 controlling the recording by the recording head 10. The correction value C is a value for correcting deviation of the recording position due to movement in a width direction intersecting with a medium conveyance direction of the sheet P which is generated in association with conveyance of the sheet P by the conveyance roller pair 11. The control part 18 determines the recording position to the sheet P in the width direction on the basis of the correction value C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
