Abstract:
To provide a recording device which simplifies a supply operation of a sheet.SOLUTION: A recording device 100 comprises: a conveyance motor 541 for conveying a sheet 1 in a conveyance direction; a carriage 530 for recording an image on the sheet 1 conveyed by the conveyance motor 541; and a paper end sensor 531 for detecting a position of an end part of the sheet in a cross direction crossing the conveyance direction. The recording device starts recording of the image on the sheet 1 in a state where one end part in the cross direction is at a prescribed position. The recording device further comprises drive motors 543, 546 for moving one end part of the sheet 1 to the prescribed position based on the position of one end part by the paper end sensor 531.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
