Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a recording device with an RF-ID tag writing function sets the feed speed of a recording medium at a feed speed predetermined by information, such as the type, amount of writing information, and writing time of an RF-ID tag, when executing recording and information writing, to pose frequent loss of time by a failure in writing.
SOLUTION: Upon a determination of a failure in writing into an RF-ID tag, the feed speed of a recording medium for the next recording and writing operation is reset. The reset feed speed is selected as a speed lower than the feed speed for the preceding operation. Information in the RF-ID tag with the writing failure is acquired and compared with the amount of full writing information, whereby a more optimal feed speed is selected.
