Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a recording device wherein outputting can be performed with a proper length of page in accordance with a printer even if size of a plate cylinder varies dependent on rotary printing machine.
CONSTITUTION: When a print command is received from a host device at step 2, it is checked whether preparation for printing is OK or not at step 3. When it is OK, blind feeding is performed before printing at step 4. At this time, reference is made to a blank area feed quantity which is set previously in a RAM. After the blind feeding, data is printed at step 5. At step 6, a predetermined quantity of the blind feeding is further performed.
