PURPOSE: To provide a recording device wherein a coloring layer of a paper which has been pressed by a pressing member is not transferred to the pressing member and peeling of the coloring layer from the paper is prevented even when the paper is fed after it is left to stand at a high humidity in a state inserted in between a paper feed roller and the pressing member.

CONSTITUTION: A water repellent property is given to an outer peripheral surface of a pressing member 10, so that a coloring layer is not transferred to the pressing member 10 and peeling of the coloring layer from a paper can be prevented even when the paper is fed after it is allowed to stand at a high humidity in a state inserted into a printer.
