To provide a recording head capable of ensuring operation speed and noise-resistance characteristics of a control circuit thereof, without causing increase in cost of recording device body and the control circuit of the recording head, and a recording device employing this recording head.
The recording head is provided with a level converter in the inside, which supplies a recording signal inputted, based on a logic voltage (VL) of the recording device to a logic circuit, after stepping up the logic voltage (VL) to a drive voltage value (VM2) of the logic circuit which his higher than its voltage value and lower than a voltage value (VM1) of a heater driver. Also, the drive head is provided in the inside, with a constant voltage source using the logic voltage (VL) as a reference voltage, in order to obtain a constant voltage which is not influenced by noises generated in a heater power supply voltage (VH) supplied from the recording device to the recording head or due to the fluctuations of the power supply voltage, and the output voltage of the constant voltage source (VM2) is supplied as a power supply of the logic circuit.
