To provide recording ink which, when used for printing on regular paper, gives an image with high image density, low backside density, good color-developing nature, and no bleeding and gives a clear image near to a printed matter without problem in drying rate even when used on flat and smooth printing paper with small moisture absorption capacity; and an ink media set, an ink cartridge, an ink recorded matter, an inkjet recording apparatus, and an inkjet recording method.
The recording ink contains a solid component containing a colorant and a resin and being solid at 25°C, a liquid component having a boiling point higher than water and being liquid at 25°C, and water, the total liquid content of the recording ink being 20 mass% or lower. The use of the recording ink can solve problems concerning drying rate even when the ink is combined with a flat and smooth recording medium with a small moisture absorption capacity.
