Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording material sorting device and an image formation device, capable of suppressing damage of a gear while a lower cost is promoted.SOLUTION: A recording material sorting device includes a transportation member which transports a recording material in transportation direction and is supported movably in the direction across the transportation direction, a guide member which moves in crossing direction in such a manner as interlocked with movement of the transportation member in the direction across the transportation direction, a cam member which rotates and pressurizes the guide member to move the guide member and transportation member in the crossing direction, a drive member which is fixed to one end of the cam member for rotating the cam member, a rotation transmission member which receives a driving force from the drive source to rotate the drive member, and a switching member for switching between a state in which rotation of the driving member is prevented and a state in which rotation is permitted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
