Abstract:
To provide a recording medium conveyance device which can more efficiently convey a recording medium, and provide an image formation apparatus and a recording medium conveyance method.SOLUTION: A recording medium conveyance device comprises: a conveyance unit which has a cylindrical conveyance drum, in which a recording medium is placed on the outer curved surface of the conveyance drum and which conveys the recording medium by rotating the conveyance drum around a cylindrical shaft; and a recording medium supply unit which supplies the recording media to the conveyance unit such that the two or more recording media are arranged in the width direction in parallel with the cylindrical shaft on the outer curved surface. The conveyance drum has a holding part which holds the tip of the recording medium at a prescribed position in the rotation direction of the conveyance drum on the outer curved surface. The conveyance unit conveys the two or more recording media in the state where the tip of each of the two or more recording media supplied from the recording medium supply unit is held by the holding part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
