Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a reduction in a manufacturing efficiency while decreasing a thickness and a size of an entire apparatus as much as possible, and prevent an increase in a cost, to prevent a vibration of a spindle motor as much as possible, to improve a rotating accuracy, to enhance a recording density of a recording medium and to realize a large recording capacity.
CONSTITUTION: An inner peripheral edge of an annular flat plate 32a of a rotor yoke 32 is formed at an upwardly protruding annular protrusion 32b. An outer peripheral edge of the plate 32a is formed at a magnet holder 32c bent slightly inward in an axial direction and folded at an outside. The protrusion 32b is externally engaged fixedly in a tightly fitting manner with an annular extension 30b of a rotor hub 30. An annular rotor magnet 34 is internally engaged with the holder 32b in a tightly fitting manner and radially opposed to a stator core 18.
