Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture a highly reliable recording medium by bonding two sheets of transparent resin substrates with a thermosetting bonding agent which is mainly composed of copolymer of ethylene, vinyl-acetate and maleate and/or maleic anhydride. SOLUTION: This recording medium uses a thermosetting bonding agent which is mainly composed of copolymer material of ethylene, vinyl-acetate and maleate and/or maleic anhydride for bonding two sheets of transparent resin substrates, for example, digital video disc substrates of double-side reading system having formed reflecting layers 1a, 2a on the signal bit surface. In this case, since this bonding agent is capable of bonding the substrates in higher accuracy by surely controlling the thickness, it is effective for bonding of the substrate of the single-side reading system.
