Karaoke playing information including voice data for playing karaoke and text data of the text of the karaoke and a karaoke playing program which makes a computer device follow a procedure for reading the voice data in and reproducing voice and a procedure for reading the text data in and displays the text in synchronism with the progress of the voice reproduction are recorded in a computer-readable state, so since the karaoke playing program and the karaoke playing information are both recorded on a recording medium, the computer device can be made to read the karaoke playing program and play the karaoke as long as the recording medium is available.
