PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly output a printed recording medium such as a resident card and securities the forgery of which by copy is inhibited from a printer without using forgery prevention paper based on data obtained via a communication network such as a computer network.
SOLUTION: A recording medium output system is constituted by connecting a LAN 1 having a DB server 14 to manage input/output of data to a database 12 arranged at a city hall, etc., and many LANs having terminals 18 and printers 20 arranged in stores 22 such as convenience stores respectively via a communication line 16 and the Internet 10, document data such as a certificate is retrieved from the database 12 at the city office by operating the terminal 18, image data the forgery of which by copy is inhibited according to types, etc., of the certificate is synthesized with the retrieved document data and the document data is outputted from the printer 20 installed in the same store 22.
