PURPOSE: To automate various recording medium processings such as discrimination, classification, collection, tabulation, punching, etc., of the type of car or amount of a collected magnetic commutation ticket at high universal applicability.

CONSTITUTION: When the number of magnetic commutation tickets collected is one, it is chuted into a ticket chuter 12, while a plurality of ticket collected are all together set in a ticket batch chuter 13. Magnetic tickets that a magnetic reader 15 reads their magnetic information and discriminates them valid are punched for disuse by a disuse hole puncher 16, are then classified for type of car or ticket amount by a classify/collect section 17, and are collected in each collector box. Further, based on read magnetic information, they are tabulated for type of car, ticket amount, number of tickets, total amount, etc. by a control/data transmission section 18, and then are transferred to an external device.
