Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the time for a transportation means to move to a reference position.SOLUTION: An offset discharge device 10 includes a discharge roll holder 72 which discharges paper P following rotation of a rotating shaft 74, an offset motor 76 which moves the discharge roll holder 72 positioned at a home position in width direction of the paper P, an optical sensor 80 which receives the light irradiated from a light emitting part 80A by a light receiving part 80B, and a light shielding plate 78 which shields the light irradiated from the light emitting part 80A so that the intensity of the light received by the light receiving part 80B changes only once across a threshold voltage value when moving the discharge roll holder 72 from one end to the other end within a movable range of the discharge roll holder 72 while moving along with the discharge roll holder 72.
