Title:
RECORDING MEDIUM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2610764
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve recording efficiency by recording information on respective independently changeable separated continuous marks and showing separated one of binary code blocks of plural bits with continuous lengths of respective marks.
CONSTITUTION: A formatter 27 formats a signal that an A/D converter 21 A/D converts a base band video signal to a four bits code block to store it in a buffer 31. Mark and space pulse width modulators 35 and 37 generate alternately pulses having corresponding respective independently changeable duration times from blocks at every one outputted from the buffer 31. A connector 39 connects these pulses to generate a modulation signal, and an intensity modulator 17 modulates a write-in laser 13 by the modulation signal, and forms the four bits code block of logic 1, 0. Thus, a system of a recording medium capable of recording digital information of a format easily reproducing with high efficiency on the recording medium is obtained.
