Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a recording medium excellent in the wear-proof and causing less deterioration of reproduced video quality, by regulating the dynamic loss factor (tanδ) of material of the recording medium to a given value.
CONSTITUTION: The dynamic loss factor (tanδ) of the material of the recording medium is regulated to 0.019 or more at 11Hz, and 0.029 or more at 110Hz. The life of disc material is made longer and the life of pickup stylus in contact with the video disc can be extended.
