Abstract:
To provide an inkjet recording method that suppresses an ink solid content from intruding into a porous body during liquid absorption and can combine maintenance of performance of the porous body and an improvement of the durability.SOLUTION: An inkjet recording method in which reaction liquid application S1 on a subject to be recorded, formation of a first image by ink application S2, liquid absorption S3 by a porous body of a liquid absorption member from the first image, cleaning S4 of the porous body, and liquid recovery S5 from the porous body are repeated, in which when the first image and the porous body come into contact, a first chemical species that contributes to ink-thickening in the reaction liquid than a second chemical species that contributes to ink-thickening in the ink on the subject to be recorded and in the porous body is contained a lot by a mole equivalent per unit area, and in the liquid recovery S5, the liquid is recovered such that the liquid remains on a contact surface side with the first image of the porous body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
