Title:
RECORDING METHOD FOR OPTICAL SCANNING TYPE ELECTRONIC PHOTOGRAPH RECORDING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS61237572
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To record without a jag at an edge part of an inclined line and a fine line by so forming the titled recording method that the recording density in the subscanning direction in which a photo-sensitive body is made larger than that in the direction of main scanning that is optical beam scanning for recording.

CONSTITUTION: A light beam from a laser beam source 1 is inputted to an optical modulator 3 via a modulation optical system 2, and is modulated using a signal supplied from a signal generating part 4. The modulated beam from the modulator 3 is expanded by a beam expander 6, then polarized by an optical polarizer 7, and exposure scanned on the photosensitive body 9 through a scan lens 8. Regarding said scanning, the recording density in the direction of subscanning in which the body 9 moves is made larger than that in the direction of main scanning which is the light beam scanning. For instance, assuming that in the main scanning direction to be 400DPI and that in the subscanning direction 480DPI, the recording is made able to give a smooth line particularly in case of an inclined line, and jags are made not to be noticeable.
