CONSTITUTION: The recording medium 2 is provided with the magnetic recording layer 3 on the upper layer of the optical recording layer 4. Magnetic recording or reproducing is executed by providing the side facing an optical head 6 with a magnetic head 8. As a result, magnetic recording and reproducing independent from optical recording are made possible.
