Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the increase in the area of a device and the adhesion of dust to a magnetic card by holding the magnetic card in a longitudinal shape, moving reciprocally, and recording or reproducing. CONSTITUTION:When the shaft 41 of a motor 35 is rotated, a capstan shaft 40 is rotated through a pulley 42, a belt 43, a pulley 36, a pulley 44, a belt 45 and a pulley 37, and a capstan 46 is rotated, so that a pinch roller 47 is rotated and the magnetic card 48 advances. The recording surface of the magnetic card 48 is reproduced by a head 7a. Thus, the rear end of the magnetic card 48 passes through the bending part of a switch operating piece 50, the switch piece of the circuit of the motor 35 is returned, changed over, the pulley 42 is rotated in an opposite direction, the magnetic card 48 is returned, the circuit of the head 7a is interrupted and the circuit of a head 7 is operated. Accordingly, the lowerend part of the magnetic card 48 is reproduced in one way and a central part is reproduced in a return way.
