Abstract:
PURPOSE: To rapidly and easily form an index label during the recording or editing of the recording medium of a recording reproduction device.
CONSTITUTION: An index label printer 11 is provided in the housing 10 of a recording reproduction device and a tape cassette having an index label 13 before printing bonded thereto is inserted in the recording reproduction device. Then, a title name accompanied by recording or editing is set by a title setting switch 15 and a printing switch 16 is turned ON. The index label printer 11 prints the title name on the index label 13 of the tape cassette 12. The printed tape cassette 12 is taken out of a recording medium access port 14.
