Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recording sheet excellent in ink absorbency, clearness of printing and water resistance by forming a recording layer with a layer based on a high molecular metallic complex when a recording sheet consisting of a film substrate, a recording layer on one face of the substrate and a transfer type ink layer on the other face is produced.
SOLUTION: Polyethylene terephthalate or polyethylene 2,6-naphthalate is preferably used as the material of a film substrate from the viewpoint of mechanical characteristics, work efficiency, quality, profitableness, etc. A recording layer using a high molecular metallic complex as a complex of a water-soluble polymer with a metallic salt is formed on one face of the substrate. The water-soluble polymer is a polymer soluble in water at ordinary temp. and PVA or its deriv. is preferably used. The metallic salt is a salt of a divalent metal, preferably Ca or Co. A transfer type hot-melt ink layer is formed on the other face of the substrate.
