Abstract:
PURPOSE: To attain versatility by inserting a control signal processed by an external device in addition to a control signal processed in a reproducing device.
CONSTITUTION: A horizontal scanning line constituting one field in a video format signal is divided into plural blocks and a digital data of prescribed information is inserted to one block. A control code processed in the reproducing device and the control code processed in the external device are inserted to other blocks. Thus, an optional digital data is inserted and recorded as external information thereby attaining wider applications.
