To provide a recording system which can save a recording device such as an expensive high resolution/low resolution encoder and can reduce cost by controlling a recording controller and an MTX controller even if the system has the large number of recording systems and has a large scale.
The recording system can use a part of recording systems in common without using recording materials up to 70 systems in maximum for recording the recording materials of a material A group as parallel work during recording of the recording materials of a material B group. The recording controller of the recording system controls recording of the respective recording materials different in input sources by the same system by changing the recording material inputted to the recording system for taking in the recording materials transmitted from a plurality of lines onto a video server.
