Abstract:
PURPOSE: To convey a toner smoothly to a toner recovery bottle by preventing the toner from being blocked.
CONSTITUTION: Though toner 5 is conveyed to a toner recovery bottle 4 by a spiral transfer coil 2 as in toner 7, a part of the toner is accumulated as toner accumulation layer 6 on an inner wall of a toner conveying route 1 positioned in the direction A of gravitational force. By air supply from a pump 9, air flow in the direction opposite to the direction A of gravitational force is produced at an air blowing port 8 to float the toner which constitutes the toner accumulation layer 6. The toner can be, by floating, conveyed to the toner recovery bottle 4 by the spiral transfer coil 2, produces air layer between toner particles, and eliminates frictional resistance to the produced by mutual contact between toner particles. Thus the conveyance of toner is made more efficiently.
