PURPOSE: To prevent accidental phenomenon from being generated because of the blockage of pipings in a sublimate accommodating tank by contacting gaseous sublimates directly with sprayed water and separating the solidified sublimates from water.

CONSTITUTION: Gaseous sublimates generated in paradichlorobenzene storage tank 1 is entrained with inactive gas and guided out of the tank 1 and is introduced into a spasry tower 4 through a vent line 9. The sublimates contact directly waterdrops sprayed out of a spray nozzle 41 in the spasry tower 4 and solidify. Said sublimates are lighter than water and insoluble in water, and floats on the water surface and is stored at the bottom of the spray tower 4. Said solution is introduced into a separator 5 by overflowing, and sublimates and water are separated by a cartridge filter 6 provided in the separator 5.
