Title:
RECOVERING METHOD FOR CHLORINE IN CHLORINATED HYDROCARBON BY-PRODUCED FROM CHLORINE-CONTAINING ORGANIC SOLVENT PRODUCING PROCESS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5532703
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To effectively recover hydrogen chloride gas as regenerated hydrochloric acid from by-product chlorinated hydrocarbon together with hydrogen chloride gas, generated by roasting waste pickling liquor, by mixing the hydrocarbon with fuel and by feeding the mixt. to a waste pickling liquor roasting furnace.

CONSTITUTION: Chlorinated hydrocarbon by-produced from a chlorinecontg. org. solvent producing process is mixed with principal fuel such as kerosene, fed to roasting furnace 1 of a waste pickling liquor treating apparatus, and burned. Hydrogen chloride gas generated is mixed with hydrogen chloride gas generated by oxidizing waste acid, and the mixed gas is regenerated as hydrochloric acid in absorption tower 3. By this method chlorine in chlorinated hydrocarbon can be recovered using a little fuel without deteriorating the function of the waste hydrochloric acid treating apparatus.
