PURPOSE: To obtain a recovery device capable of cutting a gate remaining on an injection molded piece and positively recovering it regardless of the shape or dimension of the gate.

CONSTITUTION: A gate cutting blade 2 and a short suction tube 3 are provided to a chuck 1 of a fetching machine. One end of the short tube 3 is disposed in the vicinity of a gate cutting position. A suction part 5 having a gate sucking pipe 4 is separately provided. When the chuck 1 is stopped on a position for releasing a molded piece, the short suction tube 3 is connected to the sucking pipe 4. In this constitution a cut gate can be sucked to be recovered. As a result, an specific purpose can be accomplished. In addition, if the stop position (height position) of the chuck of the fetching machine is changed, the tip end of the suction pipe 4 of the suction part 5 can move in accordance with the height to correspond to the recovery of gates of a product of every kind.
