Abstract:

To provide a method for recovering highly pure -caprolactam capable of being used on the same level with a virgin -caprolactam.

This method for recovering -caprolactam comprises a step for regulating the pH of an -caprolactam aqueous solution obtained by depolymerizing an oligomer obtained by hot-water extraction when producing a formed product of nylon 6 and/or the nylon 6 so as to be ≥10, a step for carrying out an active carbon treatment of the pH-regulated -caprolactam aqueous solution, and distilling the treated -caprolactam aqueous solution in the state of pH ≥10.
