Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an ester useful as an additive for the preparation of fragrant liquor or as a natural flavor, by contacting a gas generated in fermentation process with a specific adsorbent and desorbing the adsorbed component.
CONSTITUTION: Gas generated in fermentation process is made to contact with an adsorbent made of carbon and having pore size exceeding 5 and smaller than 40 and the adsorbed component is desorbed. The adsorbent having fine pores is preferably molecular sieve carbon.
