Abstract:
To provide a recovery method of vibration damping device for a viscous system capable of easily restoring when a decoupling pin is cut.SOLUTION: When replacing a decoupling pin with a replacement decoupling pin to restore a release mechanism 22 by incorporating it in a viscous vibration damping device 7 after the decoupling pin is cut at a constricted portion 67, the recovery method of a vibration damping device includes: a first step in which a mounting plate 66 is removed from an upper base 39, and upper fixing means 72 and lower fixing means 74 which are replaced with a new replacement decoupling pin and connected to a specified position are moved to a predetermined position in a vertical space S between the mounting plate and the upper base; a second step of securing the lower fixing means to the upper base by fully tightening lower bolts 86; and a third step in which the upper base is lifted up, and securing the upper fixing means to the mounting plate by fully tightening upper bolts 81 so that the release mechanism is suspended from the mounting plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 21
