Abstract:

PURPOSE: To recover Ni as Ni3S2 with good efficiency, by reacting a specific amount of metal Cu and hydrogen sulfide with Ni-ion in an acidic aqueous solution containing said Ni-ion under a specific condition while subjecting the reaction mixture to solid-liquid separation.

CONSTITUTION: Metal Cu and hydrogen sulfide are added to an acidic aqueous solution containing Ni-ion in an amount of reaction equivalent with respect to the content of the Ni-ion and reacted with the Ni-ion at 80W95°C under atmospheric pressure for 0.5W1hr. The Ni-ion is precipitated as Ni3S2. The reaction mixture is subjected to solid-liquid separation to obtain Ni3S2 with purity of 82.5%. The recovery rate of the Ni-ion is about 99.3%.
