Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rectangular parallelepiped container which can store a waste which is required for a long-term storage at a cost lower than that of a conventional one.SOLUTION: A rectangular parallelepiped container comprising a rectangular parallelepiped box body 11 which is equipped with four side plates 12 and one bottom plate 14 and of which an upper part is opened, and a lid body 16 for closing an opening at the upper part of the box body 11, in which a surface direction shape of the lid body 16 is substantially same as a surface direction shape of the bottom plate 14, said four side plates 12 and one bottom plate 14 of the box body 11 are configured from a steel plate of which a surface direction shape is a rectangle having each side of 1 to 2 m and of which a thickness is 2 to 5 mm. Adjacent side plates 12 are directly connected to each other via no other component, and each of said four side plates 12 is directly connected to the bottom plate 14 via no other component.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
