Abstract:

PURPOSE: To simplify the operation of a rectangularly travelable self-propelled truck and secure the driving conformability by making this truck travel in the X direction with an X direction traveling wheel group being set up in the lever on one side and also in the Y direction with a Y direction traveling wheel group being set up in the lever on the other, respectively.
CONSTITUTION: Two square-form levers 1 are pivotally supported by each shaft 2, while two wheels 3 and 4 in both X and Y directions are set up so as to symmetrically fall into a straight line at a difference of 90°, and they are connected to each other through a hydraulic cylinder 5. When this cylinder 5 has expanded a plunfer 6, a wheel group, where the X-direction wheel 3 belongs, comes into contact with a floor, but another wheel group of the Y-direction wheel 4 separates from the floor the other way. When the plunger 6 is retracted, inversely the wheel group of the Y--direction wheel 4 comes into contact with the floor, and the wheel group of the X-direction wheel 3 comes off the floor. If a truck 8 uses the X-direction wheel group, it is able to travel in the X direction as well as when using the Y-direction wheel group, it is travelable in the Y direction, so with only one hydraulic cylinder 5 operated, rectangular travel in this truck 8 is made achievable and thus any possible misoperation is preventable.
