To provide a rectangular wire continuous winding device capable of stably transferring an end of wire without erroneous transfer when the end of rectangular wire is transferred to an empty bobbin from a full wound bobbin.
This device comprises a turret 4 for rotating and transferring multiple winding bobbins 2 and 3 where the rectangular wire 1 is wound, a holding means 15 rotated together with the winding bobbins 2 and 3 to hold the end of the rectangular wire 1, a cutter 10 provided near a rotary orbital of the holding means 15 to cut the rectangular wire 1, a pressing rod 14 for pushing the rectangular wire 1 to the turret 4 side so as to guide it between the cutter 10 and the holding means 15, a striker 5 mounted to an outer peripheral part of the turret 4 to indicate positions of the winding bobbins 2 and 3, and a sewing mechanism 13 for detecting the positions of the winding-bobbins 2 and 3 indicated by the striker 5 to make the pressing rod 14 elevate.
