Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the capacitance of a capacitor by providing a semiconductor switching element which conducts at the charging time of the capacitor and has opening and closing functions at the discharging time at one end of the output side of the capacitor. CONSTITUTION:The minimum input voltage is detected by rectifiers 9, 10, a Zener diode 13, and transistors 14, 15. If an input voltage Vi decreases lower than the minimum input voltage, a transistor 15 is interrupted, and an MOSFET 6 is conducted. The charging voltage of a main capacitor 3 charged by reverse voltage rectifying function of the MOSFET6 is discharged to output lines 5, 7. It is supplied directly to output terminals 20, 21 side by a main rectifier 2, and the capacitor 3 is simultaneously charged to the maximum value of the input voltage Vi. Thus, since the capacitor 3 is most effectively utilized, the capacitor of small capacitance can be used.
