To damp vibration of a structure by filling a granular medium or a liquid medium absorbing the vibration of the structure in the inside of a hollow structure (= frame) supporting a toothed rail.
A frame 100 comprises a pipe-like structure being hollow and having a rectangular cross section formed by welding a rectangular steel pipe. For example, a sand as a granular medium 101 is filled in the structure. Then, a toothed rail 40 is mounted to the frame 100 by a bolt 421 by penetrating a fixing bolt 42b. In the case where a vibration of the toothed rail 40 is transmitted to the frame 100, the granular medium 101 filled in the inside is excited and a vibration energy is absorbed by a collision of the particles each other to inhibit a noise caused by a vibration of the frame 100. As the granular medium 101, a glass, a bead, a steel ball, etc., may be used. Further, the medium is not limited to the granular medium 101 and liquid medium (e.g. a viscous fluid such as an oil or a mixture of the granular medium and the viscous fluid) may be used.
