Abstract:
PURPOSE: To take out, as electric signal, information generated at the time of cutting a semiconductor chip to obtain information peculiar to a small capacity chip in the peculiar information circuit of a semiconductor device.
CONSTITUTION: The peculiar information circuit of a semiconductor device is equipped with a conductor pattern formed in the chip boundary part of the semiconductor device and a conductor pattern detecting means for taking out, as electric signal, the physical information of said conductor pattern.
