PURPOSE: To automatically, accurately, rapidly, and easily perform recuperation judgment by measuring the immunity of IV-type collagen concentration in serum by using, a carrier where monoclonal antibody for human IV-type collagen is immobilized and a lableled polychronal antibody.
CONSTITUTION: In a group of IFN remarkably effective examples, IV-type collagen concentration decreases significantly after six months of IFN treatment, namely when a completely remarkable effect became clear as compared with the time before the IFN treatment is initiated and the time immediately after the treatment completion, the treatment effect viewed from liver tissue is reflected in the transition of value, and it becomes clear that the measurement value of IV-type collagen concentration in serum fully reflects in the recovery of liver function due to the IFN treatment. A result, in which the condition of C-type chronic hepatitis patient after executing IFN treatment is accurately reflected, can be obtained without performing liver biopsy, thus easily performing recuperation judgment. Further, the quantity of specimen sample can be minimized, automation measurement can be enabled, and a reaction time can be reduced to 40 minutes, and it is suited for measuring the sample of a number of patients.
