PURPOSE: To refract the optical axis of reflected light in a predetermined direction and make possible observation of sharp videos by providing recurrent elements which nearly totally reflect incident light and refracting means refracting the light reflected by said recurrent elements in a predetermined direction.
CONSTITUTION: Reflecting faces 12 such as three faces 2sW2d are formed on one side face of a substrate 11 of a recurrent screen 10 to form recurent elements. A renticular plate 13 as refracting means is constituted integrally with the substrate 11 on the front face of the reflecting faces 12 and the surface thereof is formed to a waveform 1. Thereupon, when incident light LA is entered, it is refracted by the curved faces 13a of the renticular plate 13, and is then reflected and refracted by the reflecting faces 12, and further it is refracted like reflected light LB by the curved faces 13a. Hence, the optical axis of the reflected light LB is refracted to an angle θ1 in a predetermined direction with respect to the optical axis of the incident light LA and when there is an abserver in the reflected light LB direction, the video is sharply observed without the aid of a beam splitter etc.
