To produce a high performance molded article from a recycled polyester obtained by adding a crosslinking compound, when the recycled polyester is melted and kneaded to crosslink the polyester.

This molded article having excellent mechanical performances and excellent durability is easily obtained by adding a compound having two or more functional groups at least selected from carboxyl groups, dicarbonyl groups, imide groups and amide groups to a recycled polyester, melting and kneading the mixture to obtain the cross-linked polyester resin having a high intrinsic viscosity, and then molding the crosslinked polyester.
