Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recycling a filter element obtained by laminating thin paper like tissue paper in a layered state by which the filter element taken out from a filter means of a lubrication oil can be efficiently utilized without being discharged.
SOLUTION: A filter element taken out from a filter means of a lubrication oil, obtained by laminating many sheets of thin paper, and formed so that the impurity in the lubrication oil may be removed by flowing the lubrication oil in the laminated paper layers in the direction parallel to the space of the layers and allowing the impurity to be adsorbed by the fiber of the paper by Brownian motion or the like is heated without feeding oxygen to provide an activated carbon. The heating temperature is preferably ≥800°C.
