Abstract:
To provide a recycling method of ceramic-particle-reinforced aluminum composite for recycling a ceramic-particle-reinforced aluminum alloy made of eutectic aluminum alloy or hypereutectic aluminum alloy.
The composition of aluminum alloy is made hypoeutectic by adding aluminum to molten metal of eutectic or hypereutectic aluminum alloy reinforced with ceramic particles, then molten metal aluminum alloy is cooled to a semi-solidified state, and flux particles made of metal salt is added by a semi-solidification stirring method. Then, the hypoeutectic aluminum alloy of the semi-solidified state is heated to 700-800°C while it is further stirred, thereby separating ceramic particles from the aluminum alloy of the molten metal state.
