Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recycling method by which smoke dust is utilized as the raw material for iron making without subjecting the same to reclaiming treatment, and the economically treatable smoke dust is used as the raw material for iron making.
SOLUTION: Smoke dust 10 produced on a refuse disposal stage is mixed with a prescribed amount of iron source 11 and a chloride A12, and the mixture is heated to ≥700°C. By the heating, nonferrous metal contained in the smoke dust 10 is converted into a chloride B, and is volatilized and removed from the smoke dust 10 to obtain the raw material 13 for iron making. Thus, the smoke dust 10 is utilized as the raw material 13 for iron making without subjecting the same to reclaiming treatment, and can economically be treated.
