To provide a recycling system in which work burden on a rotary kiln is reduced and furthermore, reduced iron and zinc can be effectively taken out from soot and dust.
The recycling system 10 includes: an electric furnace 12 which melts scrap of an iron product containing zinc; the rotary kiln 26 which generates reduced iron 38 by burning a mixture (raw material 32) of the soot and dust contained in exhaust gas 14 of the electric furnace 12 and carbonaceous material 28; and zinc refining equipment 66 which generates zinc from the soot and dust. In the recycling system, there are arranged: a cyclone device 16 which collects first soot and dust 18 from the exhaust gas 14 through centrifugal separation; and a filter 22 which collects second soot and dust 27 from the exhaust gas (exhaust gas 20) having passed through the cyclone device 16. The recycling system 10 is characterized in that the rotary kiln 26 generates reduced iron 38 from the first soot and dust 18, and the zinc refining equipment 66 generates zinc from the second soot and dust 24.
