Abstract:
To provide a red colored composition for a color filter, which has high sensitivity, good linearity and a good pattern profile in a wide range of film thickness levels even when a pigment concentration is high, and which causes less degassing, and a color filter formed by using the above composition.SOLUTION: The red colored composition for a color filter comprises a colorant (A), a binder resin (B), an oxime ester photopolymerization initiator (C), a photopolymerizable compound (D), and an organic solvent. The colorant (A) contains a red colorant (A1); the photopolymerizable compound (D) contains a bifunctional bisphenol A-type (meth)acrylate (D1); and the content of the bifunctional bisphenol A-type (meth)acrylate (D1) is 15 mass% or more and 30 mass% or less in 100 mass% of the nonvolatile content of the red colored composition for a color filter.SELECTED DRAWING: None
