Abstract:
To provide a coloring composition which can provide a color filter that is thin while having high color purity and has good flatness and chemical resistance when a specific pigment is used with a specific ratio, in an organic EL display device using a white light-emitting organic EL element as a light source.SOLUTION: A red coloring composition for organic EL display device contains a red pigment, a yellow pigment, an alkali-soluble resin, a photopolymerizable monomer and a photopolymerization initiator, where the red pigment contains C.I.pigment red 177 and/or a naphthol azo pigment [A] represented by the following general formula (1), the yellow pigment contains C.I pigment yellow 185, and a content of any one of the C.I. pigment red 177 and the naphthol azo pigment [A] represented by the following general formula (1) is 77 wt.% or more in 100 wt.% of the red pigment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
