The redispersed powder having the plasticizing property and stabilized with the polyvinyl alcohol is obtained by drying an aqueous dispersion in the presence of a copolymer, wherein the aqueous dispersion is obtained by stabilizing, by using the polyvinyl alcohol, homopolymers or copolymers each comprising one or more monomer selected from the group consisting of vinylesters of alkylcarboxylic acids, (meth)acrylic esters, dienes, olefins, vinylaromatic compounds and vinyl halogenides, and the copolymer comprises one or more monomers selected from the group consisting of ethylenic unsatulated monocarboxylic or dicarboxlic acids and anhydrides or salts thereof, one or more ethylenic unsaturated compounds or salts thereof each having sulfonic group, sulfate group or phosphonic group and one or more monomers selected from the group consisting of alkylcarboxylic acid vinyl or (meth)acrylic esters.
