CONSTITUTION: A lubricant additive concentrate contains an aminated phosphosulfurized polyalkene and a polyalkene subsid. phenol and has a polyalkene group with a number average mol.wt. of 700-500. Phosphosulfurized alkenes can be produced by reacting a polyalkene polymer with phosphorus sulfide and, by treating the posphosulfurized alkenes with a primary or secondary aliphatic or aromatic amine, an aminated phosphosulfurized polyalkenes can be obtained. Further, a polyalkene substd. phenol can be produced by reacting a polyalkene and phenol by Friedel-Crafts reaction using a Lewis acid catalyst such as BF3.
